Magic Valley Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that Lois Anderson, Occupational Health Coordinator, has successfully completed a recertification course approved by the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) as an Occupational Hearing Conservationist (COHC). Industries in the Magic Valley and elsewhere depend on certified technicians to conduct audiometric testing and help prevent hearing loss among their workers.

Her work focuses on assisting companies in setting up employer-related benefits such as work physicals, employee assistance programs, a drug free workplace, and also the hearing conservation program.
She also assists many schools in the community with the student random drug screening process. “On behalf of MVRMC, we congratulate Lois for her continued efforts that make a difference of the health and productivity of our Valley’s workforce,” stated Bonnie Williams, Workman’s Compensation and Business Relations Coordinator, MVRMC Occupational Health.
