Magic Valley Regional Medical Center Welcomes 2006 New Year’s Baby
Date: January 1, 2006
Magic Valley Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome our first baby of 2006! The MVRMC New Year’s Baby arrived on the scene at 2:34 a.m. on January 1, 2006. This little girl is the daughter of Sean and Kara Spagnolo of Jerome. She was welcomed to the world by Dr. David Allen and MVRMC nurses Kim Luper RN, Shelley Allen RN, and Karen Anderson-Barker RN. The New Year’s Baby weighed in at 8 pounds, 7 ounces and was 21 long.
Each New Year the first baby born at Magic Valley Regional and his or her family receive some very special gifts. This year the MVRMC Women & Infants Center staff donated an enormous wicker bassinette filled with diapers, sleepers, blankets, gift certificates for meals, a carbon monoxide detector, nursery monitor, and many other items including as a bouncy seat, baby bathtub, diaper genie, and keepsake items. The Safe Kids Coalition of Magic Valley also donated a certificate for an appropriate child safety seat and free installation.
Congratulations to the Spagnolo family, and best wishes for the New Year.
