Proposals for Community Health Improvement Fund

St. Luke’s Magic Valley Regional Medical Center is committed to improving the health of the community it serves. Each year the hospital Board of Trustees grants financial support to community organizations that are also working to address identified community health priorities and improve the health of the people of the region. The deadline for this year’s applications is September 6, 2006.
Proposals for the 2007 Community Health Improvement Fund must address one or more of the following community health priorities:
Access to Care
Injury and Violence
Overweight and Obesity
Mental Health
Physical Activity
Applicants are expected to demonstrate collaboration and coordination with other community organizations, including SLMVRMC. They must also include a mechanism with which to measure health improvements. Preference will be given to projects that support multiple communities in the South Central Idaho and Northern Nevada.
